(KAIR) -- An Oskaloosa woman changes her plea on charges related to child abuse.
Lori Courter pled no contest Thursday in Jefferson County District Court to aggravated battery, a level 5 person felony and aggravated endangering a child, a level 9 person felony.
Courter originally pled not guilty to the charges in late 2012, however due to various motions, her March trial date was continued.
She was arrested by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s office for pouring scalding hot water on a three-year old girl on July 13, 2012.
Sentencing is set for July 10th.
Courter is free on bond.
