(KAIR) -- A 26-year-old Atchison man will stand trial on several child sex charges.
Randy Stewart, Junior waived his preliminary hearing Wednesday morning in an Atchison County courtroom on two counts of electronic solicitation of a child and one count each of aggravated indecent liberties with a child and aggravated criminal sodomy.
Stewart was arrested February 15th by Atchison Police for allegedly sending text messages of a sexual nature to a 14-year-old girl.
He also accused of committing sexual acts with a 15-year-old girl between November of last year and February of this year.
Arraignment has been set for June 17th.
Stewart remains in the Atchison County Jail on 100 thousand dollars bond.
