Richardson County Commissioners Review Brush Notices
05/03/2013

(KTNC) - Richardson County Commissioners received the weekly Road and Bridge Department update when they met Tuesday.
Highway Superintendent Scott Huppert presented commissioners with eleven brush complaints, and the board also discussed progress being made on previous brush complaints sent to landowners. Huppert said that most of the landowners have complied with the requirements or have made arrangements to clear the brush within 30 days.
Commissioners approved an agreement with the Department of Roads for fracture critical bridge inspections this year, and adopted a resolution authorizing Chairman David Sickel to sign the agreement with the Department of Roads for fracture critical bridge inspections.
The board also authorized the chairman to sign and approve a supplemental agreement to the Federal Aid Transportation Fund Purchase Sale Agreement with the D-O-R that was first entered into in 2011.
And the board approved the National and State Functional Classification System Road maps for the county.  The maps include changes due to road closings since the last certification.
In other business, the board voted to recommend approval of a liquor license for Cory Snethen and Greg Strickland, who have opened the Breezy Hill Café and Bar on Highway 73 south of Falls City.
