(KLZA) U-S Senator Deb Fischer visited Falls City and Auburn on Tuesday. She has spent time this week touring businesses and getting to know more about Southeast Nebraska.
During her visit she stopped by our Falls City studio’s to visit. The first term Senator talked about the ongoing problems with getting a budget passed in Washington D.C. ( play audio :31 seconds )
While it would seem so many amendments would be counter-productive to getting a budget passed, Fischer says it offered some Senators the only way to get their ideas out for debate. ( play audio :24 seconds )
