(KLZA) The Pawnee County Commissioners will meet at 9 a-m Tuesday.
Pawnee City, City Council representative Deb Klein will meet with the Board to present the City’s counter-offer of a 2-percent increase for each of the three years of a proposed contract for the Pawnee County Sheriff’s Department to provide law enforcement for the City. The County proposed a 3-percent increase.
At 9:15 a-m Pan Armknecht with Southeast Nebraska Community Action will meet with Commissioners regarding the Handibus application.
Zoning and Weed Administrator Larry Bradbury will meet with the Board at 9:30 a-m to discuss his purchasing budget and review an e-mail from the State of Nebraska regarding Sericea Lespedeza.
Highway Superintendent Chris Rauner will review the tree and brush policy with the Board and the County Attorney.
