( KNZA )--There’s a new face on the Sabetha City Commission.
Maridel Wittmer took a seat on the commission Monday evening after being sworn in as Commissioner of Finance.
The commission last month appointed Wittmer to fill the vacancy created by the death of longtime commissioner Hugh Mitchell.
Wittmer had filed in January for the position, which is up for election during the April 2nd general election
