(KAIR) -- A 45-year-old McLouth man has been arrested on charges of aggravated battery and felony criminal damage to property.
McLouth Police Chief Marcus Koch says Kenneth McAfee was taken into custody Tuesday on a Jefferson County District Court warrant for an alleged incident last Thursday night in McLouth that sent a female acquaintance to the hospital.
County Attorney Jason Belveal says the incident occurred at the residence of the female acquaintance.
The complaint alleges that McAfee caused multiple lacerations and bruises to the woman’s head and arm, causing hospitalization.
The woman was treated and released with multiple stitches.
He remains in the Jefferson County Jail on 10 thousand dollars bond.
