(KAIR) -- A Hiawatha woman, already in jail after having her probation revoked, now faces a charge for allegedly bringing contraband into a correctional facility.
Atchison County Sheriff Jack Laurie says the alleged incident involving Cassandra Hughes was reported early Tuesday morning.
Hughes, formerly of Atchison, was ordered Monday in Atchison County District Court to serve her original 11 month sentence on an October 2011 conviction for possession of narcotics after violating terms of her probation.
Hughes remains in the Atchison County Jail.
