(KAIR) -- An Atchison man will head to prison for attempting to smuggle items into the Atchison County Jail.
Leautry Shaw was sentenced to 21 months Friday in Atchison County District Court on the charge of bringing contraband into a correctional facility.
Shaw was reporting to the jail on another offense on December 28th and was subsequently caught during booking having tobacco, matches and rolling papers on his person.
