(KLZA) This year marks the 90th Anniversary of the Scholastic Art & Writing
Awards. Eight Falls City High School students will be honored at the
Regional Celebration on Saturday, February 23rd in Omaha. Their
award-winning work is on exhibit at the Omaha Public Schools Teacher
Administration Center from February 29th – March 27th. This is a
tremendous achievement and a prestigious accolade for these students.
Gold Key Awards: Austin Schaible, Vincent Bennett, Sydney Armbruster, Krystal Samqua.
Silver Key Awards: Austin Schaible, Brooke Scheitel.
Certificate of Merit Awards: Della Peek, Anastasia Finner, Allyson Scholl.
Awards are based on originality, technical proficiency and expression.
Works that receive Gold Key recognition at the regional level will be
judged nationally against Gold Key work from across the country.
National winners will be announced March 15th.
