(KAIR) -- A 32-year-old Saint Joseph man will head to prison for three years for a string of thefts over the course of two years in Atchison.
Christopher Blanchard was sentenced Friday in Atchison County District Court on three counts of felony theft.
He was arrested by Atchison Police in January for the theft of two chainsaws from The Hardware Store during the Ladies Night Out promotion late last year, as well as the theft of thousands of dollars of electronics from Wal-Mart on two occasions.
He also got a concurrent jail sentence for the theft of another chainsaw from a parked truck.
