(KTNC) - Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries following an accident on an ice-covered highway in northwest Missouri Thursday morning.
The accident occurred at 10:35 Thursday morning, on Missouri Route 111 about five miles south of Craig.
The Missouri State Patrol says Raymond Gladden of Craig was driving a 1998 Isuzu Rodeo northbound on 111, when he lost control of the vehicle on the icy road. The vehicle went off the west side of the highway and overturned, coming to rest on the driver’s side.
Two passengers in the vehicle, 73-year-old George Barker of Mound City and 71-year-old Janice Gladden of Craig, were taken by ambulance to the Fairfax Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Raymond Gladden was not injured.
The State Patrol says everyone in the vehicle was wearing a seatbelt.
