( KMZA )- A February 5th preliminary hearing has been set in Nemaha County Court for a former Sabetha man facing a charge of sexual exploitation of a child.
48-year-old Christopher Sperling was arrested January 19th by the Sabetha Police Department on a Nemaha County warrant.
Sperling is a registered sex offender who spent more than four years in prison between 2006 and 2010 following a conviction for the attempted rape of a 9-year-old Clay Center girl in July 2005.
His registered address was listed as Olathe as of January 10th this month.
Sperling remains in the Nemaha County Jail on $250,000 bond.
