(KAIR) -- Atchison Police have seen a steady decline in traffic accidents in the community.
This trend came about during the annual report of the department released earlier this week.

That’s Chief Mike Wilson.
He also says despite the minimal differences in population over the last 30 years in Atchison, the amount of calls police receive have nearly quadrupled.

A 67 percent case clearance rate and increase in drug arrests also highlight the report.
