(KTNC) - An event in Falls City Saturday morning will raise funds for several area charities. What’s being called the “12 Championing Charities” will be held from 9:00 a.m. till noon at the Thrivent Financial office in Falls City.

There are nine charities from southeast Nebraska and northeast Kansas participating in the event. (play audio :27)
Thrivent will provide supplemental funds to the three charities that collect the most funds during the three-hour event, which will also include breakfast hors d’oeuvres and Christmas music.
In addition, Stoller says they’re partnering with SENCA on a coat drive Saturday morning. (play audio :31)
The “12 Championing Charities” fundraiser will be held at Thrivent’s new office, at 109 East 16th Street in Falls City.
