(KAIR) -- A 27-year-old Atchison man pled guilty to a drug charge Monday in Atchison County District Court.
Jerami Schmelzle pled to possession of a narcotic.
He was arrested after a traffic stop that was anticipated by Atchison Police, who had a search warrant in hand.
That search of the vehicle discovered several oxycontin pills in his possession.
Sentencing is scheduled for January 7th and Schmelzle is currently free on 50 thousand dollars bond.
