(KAIR) -- In an effort to improve their facility, the Effingham Library will host their first annual craft fair Saturday.
It will run from eight until two at the Blue Building.
All proceeds from the event will go toward library improvements.
Library Director Amy Parton says the idea came about when she saw the need for new carpet.

Parton says over 20 vendors, most of them from the Effingham area are confirmed to attend.

A concession stand will also be available and activities for children.
Parton says she hasn’t priced the amount needed to be raised for the carpet, but says any surplus funds after that purchase will be in a fund for other library improvements.
