(KAIR) -- A 50-year-old Atchison man will serve multiple years in prison after being sentenced Friday in Atchison County District Court.
Harry Barnett will serve 29 months in prison on the charge of aggravated battery.
He was arrested on August 31st within an hour of being released on bond from Atchison County Jail on multiple domestic battery counts.
The incident occurred in a barn near Jackson Park where he struck a 22-year-old female victim multiple times, causing numerous facial injuries.
He also had probation on those multiple domestic battery convictions, which involved the same 22-year-old, revoked and terminated as unsuccessful.
