(KAIR) -- An Effingham man will head to prison after getting his probation revoked on an arson charge Friday in Atchison County District Court.
Gale Hewitt will serve his original sentence of 16 months.
The revocation came after his probation officer says he failed to report numerous times after having that sentence suspended to a year of probation in April.
Hewitt was arrested by Atchison Police for setting ablaze a vacant home owned by Achievement Services at 1527 Center Street in Atchison on February 17th where he had been staying while homeless.
