The Sabetha Bluejays girls tennis team continues to string together great performances on the tennis court this season and it wasn't any different, yesterday at the Immaculata Invite.
With a total of 24 team points the Bluejays captured the overall team crown on the day's action with Bishop Seabury finish second with 17 points. The Bluejays were lead by two first place finishes, a second and third place finish, also.
It was another first place finish for Kyla Patron in singles competition as set went a perfect 3-0 on the day on her way for first in singles number two competition. While her teammates and doubles pairing Laeny Edelman and Jessica Romines went 3-0 on the day, also to win the second doubles of the day.
In doubles number one competition it was a second place finish for Amy Wysong and Ellie Montgomery, while Jennifer Stallnbaumer took home a third place finish in the singles number one competition.
Other highlights from the meet from Kanzaland area schools included a second place finish for Sydney Simek of Immaculata in the singles number two competition.
