Kevin B. Stanley

A search warrant is executed by the Jackson County Sheriff's Office Thursday afternoon in Mayetta, leading to the evening arrest of a 28-year-old man on marijuana related charges, including felony possession.

Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse says the raid, at the residence, was conducted around 4:30 Thursday at 206 East James Street.

That investigation then led to the apprehension of 28-year-old Mayetta resident Kevin Stanley, taken into custody on charges of possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. Morse identifies the controlled substance as marijuana.

Stanley was also arrested on an outstanding Brown County warrant, and taken to the Jackson County Jail.

Bond is pending.
