(KAIR) -- A 27-year-old Atchison man has his Tuesday jury trial called off and then gets arrested on a separate case.
Sylvester Williams had the case on the felony charges of felon in possession of a firearm and defacing a firearm continued to a status conference on July 16th.
He was arrested on January 11th following a search warrant of his residence by Atchison Police.
During the search, investigators found a gun that was believed to be his.
Also on Tuesday, Williams was arrested on municipal court warrants for failure to appear.
He remains in Atchison County Jail as of Wednesday morning on 210 dollars bond and 310 dollars for each municipal case.
