That’s where the Sheriff’s deputy lost the vehicle, but Atchison Police were able to locate the vehicle again around eighth and Division.
Calhoon says the chase continued and then came to an abrupt end in the north end of the city when the vehicle crashed into a dam filled with water near Harper Drive.
Olson was booked on felony fleeing and eluding, as well as driving under the influence, transporting an open container and reckless driving.
Additionally, during booking she was given the felony charge of trafficking contraband into a correctional facility for allegedly concealing a medicine bottle in underclothing.
Olson remains in Atchison County jail on 10 thousand dollars bond, awaiting formal charges.
