Nemaha County Nebraska Commissioners approved the sale of two vehicles to a Chicago company this week.
Welcome Motors of Chicago submitted the high bids for the purchase of two 2007 Nemaha County Sheriff’s vehicles. The board accepted the bid of $5,225 for a Dodge Charger with about 122,000 miles, and the bid of $4,807 for a Charger with 135,300 miles.
Welcome Motors was one of two bidders for the Nemaha County vehicles.
In other business Wednesday, the Nemaha County Board authorized Larry Holtzman to replace three windows at the Multi-Plex Building. The board approved the purchase of three windows at a cost of $920 each.
And the board gave its consent for County Clerk Joyce Oakley to advertise for sealed bids to sell the county’s Linkbelt Crane. Sealed bids will be opened on May 9th.
