HTRS graduate Calvin Freeman of Table Rock led the Southeast Community College Men’s Golf Team to victory in the Midland College Spring Invitational on Monday.
Freeman shot a round of 73 for medalist honors. As a team SCC shot a 308, one shot better than the Morningside Junior Varsity and five shots better than University of Nebraska at Omaha. In all 15 teams competed in the event.
Caleb Harms was second for SCC with a 77, finishing in a tie for 8th, Jamie Willis and Alex Overfelt tied for 18th with a round of 79 and Asa Phillips and Hunter Kendall each shot an 84 to tie for 44th place.
