A 59-year-old Atchison man gets probation after having a prison sentence suspended Monday in Atchison County Court.
Maurice Jackson had a 12 month prison sentence suspended to 18 months of probation.
He was arrested on February 12th by Atchison Police following an incident involving pulling a knife on a Horton man.
The man was treated and released from the hospital after getting treatment for wounds to the nose and stomach.
Jackson was given probation contingent on if he can pay contempt citations on outstanding fines owed from 2000 and 2001.
