2012 Kansas Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner, held in Topeka.
Wenger Extrusion Group was awarded the Kansas Chamber's 2012 Ad Astra Award, presented to one business each year that exemplifies both business and civic excellence within the state.
Wenger Extrusion Group has a rich history, and remains family-owned, founded by the Wenger brothers, the sons of Swiss immigrants who, when orphaned, were sent to live on a farm in Sabetha.

According to Kansas Chamber President and CEO Kent Beisner, the Sabetha company was chosen for the honor because of Wenger's long-standing focus on ingenuity and dedication to the state of Kansas, consistently contributing to the economic health and welfare of the state.
