The No. 23 Nebraska women's basketball team closes Big Ten regular-season road action when the Huskers meet Michigan State for the first time in school history on Thursday in East Lansing, Mich.
Tip-off between the Huskers (20-6, 9-5 Big Ten) and the Spartans (17-10, 9-5 Big Ten) is set for 6 p.m. (central) from the Breslin Center.
The showdown between the Huskers and Spartans could have major implications on the seeding at next week's Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis. Nebraska and Michigan State enter the game as two parts of a four-way tie for third with 9-5 conference records. Purdue and Iowa also own 9-5 marks, and the Huskers are 3-0 against those two Big Ten schools. Michigan State is 1-2 against the Boilermakers and Hawkeyes, but is coming off a 67-52 overtime win over Purdue in East Lansing on Sunday.
