The Richardson County Clerks Office reports that Randy Raney has filed to run for First Ward City Council in Falls City.
Raney is the second candidate to file for the Ward I Council seat joining Mike Dougherty who filed previously.
Two Falls City Council members did not file for re-election, First Ward Councilman Hal Sutter and Second Ward Councilman Mike Moore.
Another elected official who did not seek re-election is Richardson County Third District Commissioners Bill Ely.
Non-incumbents have until March 1st to file for office in Nebraska.
