The HTRS School Board on Monday night accepted the resignation of elementary school special education teacher Corrine Bohaty and teachers aide Roxy Snethen.
Board members also decided due to the fact HTRS is expecting to have approximately 30 boys out for Junior High football next fall, they are not interested in a football co-op with Lewiston in Junior High football next fall.
Board President Steve Schaardt announced that all Board Committees would remain the same for this year as last year. A request from a student in the HTRS alternative school for early graduation was approved with the waiving of the eight semester requirement.
The Board approved March 8th for Parent-Teacher conferences in the HTRS district. Superintendent Kimbrough said the Board has prioritized updating the girls restrooms at the Table Rock site among their project list. Rich Mezgar also discussed plans for a new concession stand / press box at Power Field in Humboldt with the board. His class has been working on the design and plans will now be put out to contractors for proposals on the project.
The HTRS Board also Monday night approved a resolution supporting efforts by the HTRS Booster Club to raise funds for a new school and community fitness center. Superintendent Kimbrough explains. ( play audio :14 seconds )

The Board also decided to wait until a new Humboldt site principal is hired to finalize principal contracts for the next school year.
