The Robinson man sought as a person of interest in a Brown County drug investigation has been located.
Sheriff John Merchant says 23-year-old Cody Rhyne was arrested Monday on a Brown County warrant on charges of distributing with intent to sell and violating controlled substance laws via communications device.
He was taken into custody without incident at a rural Brown County residence, just hours after Merchant released information Monday that Rhyne was being sought.
Merchant says numerous public reports on Rhyne's whereabouts were received, helping to lead to his arrest.
Two other men-21-year-old David Goodman, of Robinson, and 36-year-old Thomas Moppin, of Severance are already in custody in connection with the drug investigation, dating back to last year.
Merchant say Goodman was arrested with the cooperation of the Richardson County Sheriff’s office on a Brown County warrant for distribution of a controlled substance within one-thousand feet of a school, distribution with intent and violating controlled substance laws via a communications device.
Goodman is currently held in the Brown County Jail.
Merchant says Moppin was arrested in Morgan County, Indiana and is awaiting transported to Brown County.
Moppin was arrested on a Brown County warrant for possession of marijuana with intent to sell, arranging sale or purchase via a communications device, possession of marijuana and driving while suspended.
