Continuing a process begun in the recent past, officials for USD 380 will hold a
“State of the District” meeting Wednesday evening at the Corning Community Center.

Whetzal says the key rumor that has circulated is district plans to close schools. However, he says that rumor holds no weight, and will likely be addressed Wednesday(Play Audio :23 seconds)
The “State of District 380” session will begin at 6:30 Wednesday evening at the Corning Community Center, with patrons encouraged to attend.
Follow-up meetings are also set to happen in Frankfort and Centralia in the near future.
However, Whetzal says the exact times and dates are not finalized.
One is planned to be held later this month, and the other sometime in March.
