New window blinds will be installed in the Nemaha County Courthouse in Seneca.
The county commission Monday accepted a quote from Lifestyle Drapery Service of Omaha for 29 solar screen shades at a cost of $10,216 plus $750 for installation.
New energy efficient windows were installed in the courthouse last year.
Following a closed-door session, the commission gave County Solid Waste Director Doug Jeanneret permission to advertise for a part-time person for his department.
