Pasture Management Workshop Scheduled

 Area cattle producers will want to mark their calendars for the sixth annual Southeast Nebraska Pasture Management Workshop, which is scheduled for March 1st in Humboldt.  The workshop will be held at the Richardson County Ag Building, beginning at 1:30 p.m. that day. 
 Topics to be covered during the workshop include grazing cover crops to supplement pasture, marketing grass fed beef, multi-species grazing, and comparing grazing systems.
 The cost for the workshop is $15 if registered in advance, or $20 at the door March 1st.  For more information, or to register, contact the UNL Extension office in Richardson, Nemaha, or Johnson County.
