Possible injuries for a driver involved in a Friday afternoon Leavenworth County crash.
The Kansas highway patrol says 61-year-old Fred Clausen was behind the wheel of an eastbound truck, on U.S. Highway 24, when the vehicle went off the right side of the roadway for unknown reasons. The 2002 Chevy truck then ran into the ditch and flipped over, landing on its top in a nearby creek. Clausen was transported from the scene of the crash, just east of Basehor, and taken to Providence Medical Center for treatment of possible injuries. The Patrol says Clausen was wearing a seatbelt when the wreck happened around 1:20 Friday afternoon.
