(KAIR)--A Leavenworth man, accused of a late week Atchison theft, is jailed on related charges.
According to a release from Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson, 26-year-old Darius Fleming was arrested Thursday night around 10:00 in connection with the theft that police say occurred about 4-hours earlier in the 300 block of North 13th Street.

When located in the 200 block of North 4th Street, Fleming was taken into custody for the theft of a cellphone, valued at $700. According to Wilson, the phone was located with Fleming.
Allegedly in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia at the time of his arrest, Fleming, along with theft, faces drug-related charges.
Once in custody, Fleming was booked into the Atchison County Jail.
