(KNZA)--A boil water advisory has been issued for Doniphan County Rural Water District #1.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment issued the advisory Friday due to the loss of press because of a water main break. Inadequate pressure may result in a loss of chlorine residuals and bacterial contamination.
Customers should boil the water they use for drinking or food preparation for one minute prior to use or use bottled water.
The advisory will remain in effect until further notice.
