(KNZA)--A Holton man already facing sex-related charges in five separate cases dating back to January 2014 is now facing charges in a sixth case.
Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse says an arrest warrant was served Thursday on 21-year-old Jacob Ewing for one count each of aggravated criminal sodomy and aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
Morse says the crimes, involving a child under the age of 14, are alleged to have occurred in March of 2014 in Jackson County
He says the arrest is the result of an investigation by detectives with the Jackson County Sheriff's Office and agents with the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
Bond for Ewing was set at $200,000 cash in the case.
With the latest case, Ewing now faces 19 sex-related charges.
He remains in the Jackson County Jail, where he had already been held on a $200,000 cash only bond following his arrest last month in the fifth case.
