(KAIR)--A change of oversight and leadership at both the Atchison County and Brown County Health Departments.
That comes as Connie Zeit leaves the position of Atchison County Health Department Director.
Appearing before the Atchison County Commission last week, Zeit informed the Commissioners that she's taking the position of Director at the Brown County Health Department in Hiawatha. That comes as the Director at that location, Karla Harter, retires.
Zeit's departure will not create a vacancy, as a replacement has already been selected.
Named as the Director at the Atchison County office is Kristy Callahan, already employed by NEK Multi-County Health Department. That not-for-profit corporation oversees the operations of both affected Health Departments, as well as the one based in Jackson County.
