(KAIR)--A well known Atchison businesswoman has died.
Ruth Stein was 81-years-old when she died Monday at the Atchison Senior Village.
Stein was well known as the CEO of Fred Stein Laboratories, Incorporated, and also served as the Executive Director for the Cray Museum, as well as co-owner of Elegance Revisited.
Stein also served on the Board of Directors for the Atchison Area Chamber of Commerce, served as Co-Chair for the Amelia Earhart Festival Luncheon for 9-years, and was a member of the Salvation Army Board of Directors.
According to her obituary from the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home of Atchison, Stein will be laid to rest Sunday afternoon at Mount Olive Cemetery, in Troy, where graveside services are planned to be held at 1:00.
Included among Stein's numerous survivors are her daughter, Allison Campbell, of Atchison, two step-daughters, a brother, three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
