(KNZA)--The Doniphan County 4-H Fair prince and princess were crowned during a ceremony Monday evening.
Selected as prince from among seven candidates was 15-year-old Jordan Gatz, an 8-year member of the Midway Meadowlarks 4-H Club.
14-year-old Caitlin Johnson, a 4-year member of the Troy Triangle 4-H Club, was selected as fair princess from among six candidates.
Gatz will be a freshman at Sabetha High School this fall, while Johnson will be a freshman at Troy High School
In their roles as fair prince and princess, Gatz and Johnson will hand out the ribbons and awards during the fair. The fair runs through Friday at the fairgrounds in Troy.
