(MSC NEWS)--A man has been charged with first degree assault in connection with a shooting that took place in St. Joseph's Midtown Thursday afternoon.
KQ2-TV reports that 24-year-old Michael James Dennis has been charged with first degree assault.
Dennis is scheduled to appear in court for an arraignment on July 21st. Bond has been set at $50,000.
It is alleged that Dennis shot the victim at a home, located in the 100 block of South Nineteenth Street just before 4:00. The victim was transported to Mosaic Life Care with severe injuries. His condition is unknown at this time.
