(KAIR)--A former Physician Assistant for the Eastern VA Hospital in Leavenworth has surrendered his medical license after being accused of sexual abuse by several patients.
KSHB reports that Mark Wisner, of Horton, voluntarily surrendered his license in February, after allegations of sexual abuse arose from at least several veterans whom he had treated.
The TV station reports they have obtained documents stating that Wisner repeatedly performed genital exams, at times without gloves, for no apparent medical purpose. He is also accused of over-medicating patients, keeping inaccurate records, and not referring patients when needed.
