(KLZA)-- In August, Excel Development Group will begin construction on a phase II family housing project in Falls City, with a price tag of nearly three million dollars.
Paula Rhian, Development Director for Excel Development Corporation says preliminary work on the project is already underway with actual construction to begin in August. The 7-duplexes, consisting of four 2-bedroom units, eight 3-bedroom units and two 4-bedroom units are expected to be ready to move into in about a year.
The price to rent the units will be $475, $515 and $560 per month. Each unit will be one level and will have an attached garage. Inside the units will include a washer and dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator and microwave. There will be a community garden and the yard maintenance is included.
Phase II of Wilderness Falls is not limited to those 55 and older. There are certain income guidelines you need to fall within to qualify.
For those who think they might be interested in living in such a facility, it would be a good idea to fill out an application. There is a waiting list for the units. New applications will be added to the waiting list and next sprint applications will be sent to everyone on the waiting list to see if they are still interested.
You can also obtain information and a pre-application at the EDGE office in Falls City. You can also get an application at exceldg.com.
