(Lincoln, Neb.)- Applications for the 2015 Sworn Officers Selection Process for the position of Nebraska State Patrol Trooper are currently being accepted through September 8, 2015, for consideration for the 57th Basic Recruit Camp scheduled to begin on February 22, 2016.
The online application is located on the State of Nebraska Career Center website; www.statejobs.nebraska.gov.

The beginning salary for a recruit is $33,344 annually. Upon graduation, the salary will increase to $44,574 annually. Other excellent career benefits include paid vacation and sick leave, medical insurance, life insurance and full retirement benefits.
Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen and 21 years of age by August 19, 2016, when they take the Oath of Office. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED equivalence.
