(KMZA)--The preliminary hearing for a young Marysville woman accused of trafficking a minor for prostitution has been postponed until August.
The hearing for 19-year-old Miranda Cain had been set for Monday in a Marshall County courtroom, but was continued until August 12th at the request of her attorney.
Cain is charged with aggravated human trafficking of a child and commercial sexual exploitation of a child.
She was arrested June 4th after the Marysville Police Department and Marshall County Sheriff’s Department conducted an undercover operation at a local motel investigating the alleged crimes involving a child born in May 2001. The juvenile was taken into protective custody at the time.
Cain remains in the Marshall County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
