(KNZA)-- A July 6th sentencing date been set for a Powhattan man convicted in a Brown County arson case.
Dylan McGinnis recently pleaded “ no contest” in Brown County District Court to a charge of arson.
McGinnis was among two men accused of setting fire to an old vacant granary February 22nd in the area of 200th and Bittersweet Roads.
Co-defendant Codey Wamsley, of Powhattan, is scheduled for arraignment July 6th on charges of arson and felony interference with law enforcement.
The pair was arrested following an investigation by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.
