(KNZA)--A rear-end collision on U.S. 75 Highway near 9th Street in Holton Tuesday afternoon sent one person to the hospital.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 19-year-old Holton resident Tyler Prine was northbound when she applied her brakes due to another vehicle stopping in front of her. The Patrol says Prine’s sport utility vehicle was struck in the rear by a northbound SUV driven by 74-year-old Denise Boman of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico.
Boman was transported to the Holton Community Hospital with unspecified injuries. Prine wasn't hurt.
The Patrol says both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
The wreck was reported about 1:15.
