(KLZA)-- Maintaining Corn Yield through Supplemental Nitrogen
Area growers are invited to attend a meeting on methods to add supplemental nitrogen to yellow corn. The meeting will be held Wednesday evening, June 17 at the TJ Hall Building on the east side of the square in Oregon. The meeting will start at 7:00 p.m.
The meeting will discuss application timing, rates, products and different scenarios to help growers through this decision. The meeting will be conducted by Wayne Flanary, Regional Agronomist, University of Missouri Extension. Please pre-register for attending the meeting by calling the Holt County Extension office at 660-446-3724 so we may prepare the correct number of handouts.
