(KLZA)-- A traffic stop leads to the arrest of a Falls City man on a felony drug charge.
40-year-old Joshua B. O’Grady was arrested late Sunday night by Richardson County Deputy Sheriff Clinton Stonebarger for possession of a controlled substance and driving under suspension.
Stonebarger observed a pickup near 14th and Lane Streets in Falls City at about 11:30 with a passenger side brake light out. A traffic stop was made. A records check indicated O’Grady’s drivers license was suspended and he was placed under arrest.
While searching his pickup, Stonebarger allegedly located a small glass container with a measurable amount of a crystal substance that later field-tested positive to be methamphetamine. A small plastic baggie containing a measurable amount of what again, later field-tested to be meth was discovered. O’Grady also allegedly told the Deputy about a marijuana cigarette in the pickup. A small glass pipe with white powder residue was also discovered.
O’Grady was booked into the Richardson County Jail.
